Just after Easter this year we had a rather windy (to say the least) stay on the north Cornwall coast. Trebarwith Strand to be exact near Tintagel. It's a lovely place but it does have a cause way carved in to the rock that goes down to the sea and the beach at low tide. This gives a dramatic, framed, view out to gul rock just off shore.
At other states of the tide the causeway is flooded.
What I found interesting in spending a week there was how many moods the sea showed us. Yes we had a named gale that caused sea foam to come up past the cottage but the moods of the sea in that week seemed to be endless.
There are the dramatic moody rocks accentuated with the wide angle and the softer longer lens view points helped with longer exposures. And of course the inevitable sunset shot:
Some of these images were taken on an iPhone. It was really interesting to see the way that different cameras interpreted the similar scenes. So these are three images that stood out to me from a week on the coast.
